ERCO(European Regional Coordination Office)  subordinated to  the CISM European Vice Presidency since 2002 coordinates, plans and carries out the CISM Regional Activities in Balkan, Black Sea and Caucasus Region. During the second annual regional meeting of our ERCO(European Regional Coordination Office) in Antalya in 2004, we started to establish the sub-strategic business plan in order to settle and execute our regional activities on stronger bases by completing the environmental needs analysis. We started to activate the progression in the region by favor of some small activities in our capacity or of participating in them to promote the activities on a regional level. Therefore the impact of the organization of the 5th CISM MWG on CISM visibility was already started on a regional level in 2002 and the proposal to establish and host a CISM Regional Development Center to be the execution organ of ERCO was discussed with the CISM official during the Continental Meeting in Ljubljana in November 2006 and officially sent to the CISM General Secretariat on the 1st February 2007 to be taken in to the agenda of the CISM March BoD Meeting.
